A space for bereaved mothers

Tell me about your child.

Their name deserves to be spoken. Their stories deserve to be heard. You can share a whole lifetime of memories, write one small thing, or simply be here for a while.

There is room for them here. And room for you, exactly as you are.

A private moment

What would you like to remember?

It might be their laugh, a favourite song, something they always said, or how much you miss them. There is no right way to begin.

Only saved on this browser when you press Save. PheNature cannot see it. Other people using this device may be able to, and clearing browser data will erase it.

When you want company

You do not have to find the right words.

Our adult community has a bereaved-parent support discussion area. Posts are reviewed before they appear; the space is not watched continuously. You can read quietly or start a conversation when you feel ready.

Please keep your child’s full name, photos and identifying details out of community posts. Your private memory above is separate from the community.

One moment at a time

For the days that feel too heavy.

Put both feet on the floor, if that feels comfortable. Notice where you are. Take one slow breath. You do not need to solve everything today.

If you want someone close to help, you could send: “Today is hard. Could you sit with me or bring me something to eat? You don’t need to fix anything.”

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. In Scotland, NHS 24 can be reached on 111 for urgent mental health support. Samaritans are on 116 123.
