Ages 7–12
PheRISE: My Amazing Different Brain Child Journal
A strengths-based journal for exploring feelings, senses, needs and a wonderfully different mind.
A place to explore the mind that makes you, you. My Amazing Different Brain Child Journal gives children aged 7–12 a guided space to explore feelings, sensory experiences, strengths and the support that works for them. It invites a child to build a picture of their own needs, without asking them to hide who they are. A child can write, draw or talk through a prompt with a trusted grown-up. Work at their pace, return to a favourite page, or use an entry to begin a conversation at home or school. Created by Lisa Birkett for PheNature, this strengths-based journal is for families and educators who want to make room for self-understanding, different experiences and a child’s own voice. An educational reflection resource, not a diagnostic assessment or treatment programme.
