Learning inspired by Phoenix, created to help different minds feel understood.
A letter from Lisa
Hello, and welcome to the very first PheNature newsletter.
PheNature was created from love for my son, Phoenix. He was bright, funny, caring and wonderfully different. He felt things deeply, and his life continues to inspire every story and resource I create.
My hope is simple: to give children words for feelings that can be hard to explain, help families begin gentler conversations and remind every young person that being different is not something that needs fixing.
Every child deserves to learn how to rise.

The PheNature resource collection
There are now 14 digital books, journals and workbooks available through the PheNature shop. The collection includes playful early-learning stories, emotional-regulation books, ADHD and neurodiversity journals, a high-school transition workbook and compassionate grief resources.
A practical transition workbook for young people with ADHD, autism or sensory differences. It helps them prepare for new routines, social pressures, sensory demands and the support they may need.
My Feelings Check-In is a free one-page A4 printable that helps a child pause, name a feeling, notice where it is felt in the body and think about what might help next.
The PheNature learning app is being developed as a child-friendly place for reading, numbers, emotional check-ins and confidence-building activities. Future letters will share its progress as the idea grows.
The Walk with Phoenix campaign carries Phoenix's name forward through greater understanding, earlier support and the belief that no young person should feel alone with overwhelming emotions.
