Phoenix the Cat and the Worry Whirlwind
A gentle story about worries, courage and taking one small step at a time.
When worry starts to whirl, the next step can feel very big. Join Phoenix the Cat in a gentle illustrated story about worried feelings, courage and taking one small step at a time. Written for children aged 4–7 to share with a trusted grown-up, this story offers a character to talk about when finding words for your own feelings is difficult. Read together, pause where your child is curious, and leave room for questions, pictures or quiet listening. You do not need to finish the story in one sitting or turn it into a lesson. For families, carers and educators looking for a warm starting point for conversations about worry. A story to return to at your child’s pace.
